Job requirements
Master’s or bachelor’s degree in chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related scientific discipline with 2-5 years (MSc.) or 4-6 years (BSc.) of relevant industry experience.
Demonstrated hands-on experience with analytical characterization techniques, particularly chromatography (U/HPLC), electrophoretic and isoelectric focusing (PA 800 Plus/Maurice), is required.
Experience working in a CRO and/or GMP Quality Control (QC) environment is highly desirable.
Proficiency with Waters Empower™ chromatography data software is a strong plus.
Working knowledge of biotherapeutic analytical development (e.g., method qualification and/or validation and assay transfer).
Experience with additional biophysical characterization techniques, such as SEC-MALS, DSC, circular dichroism (CD), FT-IR, or MFI, and/or LC-MS-based characterization of biotherapeutics is highly desirable but not required.
Ability to independently plan and execute experiments while managing multiple priorities and maintaining timelines in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work successfully in both a team/matrix environment as well as independently.
Experience with the analytical characterization of oligonucleotides a plus.
