Job description

  • You characterize biopharmaceutical molecules such as proteins, peptides, protein conjugates, and glycans using Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR), applying your scientific expertise across a wide range of client projects.

  • You perform GMP-compliant analyses, method development, validations, and qualifications, including complete documentation.

  • You independently plan and execute complex laboratory activities, analyze data, and prepare meaningful reports for our clients.

  • You continuously expand and optimize our analytical method portfolio and contribute to the standardization of analytical procedures.

  • You lead client projects within your area of expertise and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams.

Job requirements

  • You have successfully completed a Master’s degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Pharmacy, or a related field, or you hold a qualification as a Biological Technical Assistant (BTA), Biotechnological Technical Assistant (BioTA), Chemical Technical Assistant (CTA), or Biological Laboratory Technician, combined with at least five years of relevant professional experience. A specialization in functional binding assays is an advantage.

  • You have several years of professional experience in a GMP-regulated biopharmaceutical environment and are thoroughly familiar with the requirements of working in a regulated laboratory setting.

  • Your technical expertise and hands-on skills include the analysis of proteins, peptides, and protein conjugates, as well as the characterization of therapeutic molecules using SPR-based binding assays. In addition, you have experience in the development and optimization of binding assays.

  • Experience working with Biacore systems, such as the Biacore T200, and the associated GxP-compliant software is desirable.

  • A strong quality mindset, customer focus, and results-oriented approach are second nature to you.

  • You enjoy tackling complex analytical challenges, demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, and thrive in collaborative, interdisciplinary team environments.

  • You possess strong English language skills and a solid command of German.
