Scientist for Cell-Based Assays (m/f/d)

Job description

The position is initially a two-year fixed-term position.

  • Establishment, qualification, and validation of cell‑based assays (e.g. cytotoxicity, reporter gene assays, effector function) as well as ELISA assays (potency and impurity) in a GMP environment.

  • Project management including planning of projects and laboratory work as well as reporting to our international customers.

  • Review of raw data and reports.

  • Performance of laboratory work and evaluation of data for customer projects.

  • Validation and qualification of equipment and computerized systems, as well as GMP‑compliant maintenance of equipment including planning and execution of maintenance and functional tests.

  • Preparation and maintenance of method‑relevant GMP documents, such as SOPs, VPs, TPs.

Job requirements

  • Successfully completed vocational training with several years of professional experience or a successfully completed Master’s degree or a PhD in biochemistry, biology, biotechnology, or a related field.

  • If a PhD is held, postdoctoral research experience is an advantage.

  • You have excellent knowledge in the development and execution of cell‑based assays, ideally with initial experience in a GMP environment.

  • You are characterized by a careful and contamination‑free working style.

  • Experience with additional bioassays is advantageous.

  • You bring solid know‑how in the analytical sciences, including statistical evaluation of bioassays.

  • A high level of quality awareness, as well as customer‑ and goal‑oriented working style, distinguish you.

  • You demonstrate strong interpersonal skills along with a pronounced interest in and enthusiasm for complex analytical challenges.
